MEET HEATHER
THE STORY
If the first thing you thought when you read the label was, "But I'm not a baker..." Well...neither am I. That's why I buy my sourdough from a local baker instead of baking it myself. Or maybe you thought, "But I don't have the time." Truly...they are so simple to make and worth the minimal effort!
While I'm not a baker and my life is very full, I want to do what I can, when I can, to eat healthy and clean. So when I discovered that the "healthy" crackers I was eating weren't as healthy or clean as I thought, I started scanning labels for other options. To my dismay, everything I found and tried was pretty pricey, had minimal crackers in the box, and...I didn't really like how they tasted!
So naturally this non-bakers' first thought was, "I bet I can make my own!" And I did! They were easy and delicious and my friends loved them! But they didn't want to buy and store multiple bags of seeds and to be honest...I didn't want to bake crackers for the growing number of people who loved them. So Power Seed Cracker Mix was born!
They're full of all kinds of healthy goodness, incredibly easy to make, and they're delicious! I hope you and those you love enjoy them as much as so many other dear friends have.

TIPS & TRICKS

BAKE
OLIVE OIL: For a little extra flavor umph, use an infused olive oil. I especially enjoy garlic, black pepper, or rosemary.
FLOUR: You can use any variety of flour you like! I’m a fan of King Arthur’s gluten free flour or white rice flour.
ADDING FLOUR & WATER:
I initially made these with no flour but I’m all about dipping my crackers. With seeds only, these yummy crackers are a bit lighter and a tad more fragile.
You can also adjust the amount of flour and water...more for a sturdier, more robust cracker or less for something light and crispy.
ROLLING IT THIN: To help ensure a crispy cracker, after you roll it out, you may want to pierce the dough with a fork (mostly in the middle) and especially if you add more flour. This will prevent it from puffing up and allow steam to escape.
AFTER BAKING: Most likely, crackers will get gobbled up before they can go stale. But if they should, toss them in your air fryer at 325 for 3 minutes for some fresh crackers.

PERSONALIZE YOUR CRACKERS
The RUSTIC ORIGINAL is delicious and what I almost always use. But if you snagged a bag of the LIGHTLY SALTED, have some fun adding your own combination of seasonings or try one of these!
I hope these ideas were helpful for you!
Happy crackin' my friends!
